Eklektiko Duo – April 20, 2026
91¸£ÀûÉç Arts & Letters Series presented Eklektiko Duo on April 20, 2026.
Featuring Bosnian classical guitarist Tanja Mirić and mezzo-soprano Sarah Waters, the duo blended guitar, piano, and voice in a performance that was both intimate and expansive.
The program highlighted traditional folk songs from Bosnia, Croatia, and Greece—music that was at times soulful, at times playful, and always filled with vivid storytelling. Audiences also heard selections from Boccherini’s Spanish-inspired duets, Diabelli’s Austrian-style compositions, and contemporary works by French composer Erik Marchelie. From haunting mountain melodies to refined classical elegance, Eklektiko offered a dynamic and expressive musical journey that celebrated cultural connection through sound.
