Since joining 91¸£ÀûÉç in September 2021, Freeman finds joy in the friendships she's made on campus. "The best thing about 91¸£ÀûÉç is definitely the friends and relationships I have cultivated since I've been here," she said.

As 91¸£ÀûÉç's Humanities Teacher of the Year, Thompson presented her talk, "Stories that Save Us: Teaching Elie Wiesel and the Holocaust," focusing on Wiesel's lesser-known story The Watch, and its impact on students.

James Carter is a motivational speaker, published author, and mentor who is also the founder and executive director of the Carter Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving youth in Meridian, Hattiesburg, and West Alabama.
