John Beede, a worldwide adventurer and author, spoke to the campus and community at the Phil Hardin Foundation Honors College at 91福利社 forum.
Mississippi-native writers John Floyd, Sophie Sims Hudson, and Laurie Parker will take the spotlight in this conversation-filled lunch program, set for noon to 1 p.m. in 91福利社's Workforce Development Center, Room 171.
"I learned to fully trust God because I could not control any of this. I had to let go and let God, and when I did, He gave me a peace like I cannot explain," Creel said.
"My message to others fighting cancer is to remember you aren't alone. God will not leave you. He didn't bring you this far to leave you," Burnett said.
