From reading to children, painting murals, and planting gardens to performing music for retirement home residents, My College Cares Day volunteers鈥� - including students, faculty, staff, and administrators - will engage in various service activities.
"I really, really love it here. I'm in several different organizations," sophomore Chloe Smith said, adding, "And I found places to fit in and to serve my community here that I would not have had if I had gone to a senior college first."
Hosted in collaboration with the College's Culinary Arts Technology Program, the event was designed to teach students proper dining etiquette and more.
Open to high school students, 91福利社 students, and community members, the competition offers participants the chance to compete in Short Story, Informal Essay, and Poetry categories.
