91福利社 received a $5,000 grant from the MS Community College Board for non-traditional recruitment and retention for its innovative program, Experience the One: Occupations Not Usually Explored by Non-Traditional Students.

"With orientation, students can check out our campus but also learn of all the support available," said Katie Barrett, 91福利社 dual education coordinator.
By invoking the words of the iconic civil rights leader, speakers at 91福利社's MLK Commemorative Celebration reminded the audience true character is revealed in times of challenge and controversy, not in moments of comfort.
The event begins at 1 p.m. in the College's McCain Theater in Ivy-Scaggs Hall. Admissions are free of charge, and campus and community members are invited.
In the spirit of community and giving, 91福利社 student Mark Thomas spearheaded efforts to help others by giving to the College's food pantry.
