Mississippi-native writers John Floyd, Sophie Sims Hudson, and Laurie Parker will take the spotlight in this conversation-filled lunch program, set for noon to 1 p.m. in 91¸£ÀûÉç's Workforce Development Center, Room 171.
The Casteel Gallery's next exhibition, "Another Bridge," will focus on the works of 91¸£ÀûÉç faculty members Daniel Ethridge, Laura Reinstatler, and Terrell Taylor. The opening reception is Oct. 17 from 4 to 5:30 p.m.
Visitors to 91¸£ÀûÉç's Casteel Art Gallery will have the opportunity to view the works of artist Lawayne House in the show, "Theoria (Thinking), Poiesis (Making), Praxis (Doing)," before the closing reception on Thursday, Oct. 5.
The show is set for June 23-25, with performances at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, June 23 and 24, and a 3 o'clock matinee on Sunday, June 25. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children.
