Guitar Ensemble
The 91¸£ÀûÉç Guitar Ensemble gives guitar students the opportunity to perform in a group setting while exploring music from the Renaissance through modern day.
The ensemble performs each spring at the 91¸£ÀûÉç Student Guitar Recital and throughout the fall and spring semesters at 91¸£ÀûÉç campus events, community programs, and statewide guitar festivals.
The Guitar Ensemble meets on Mondays and Wednesdays at 2 p.m. Students must be able to read standard music notation in first position on the guitar. Music majors whose primary instrument is guitar are required to enroll. Non-music majors may also enroll after successfully completing Classical Guitar I or with permission from the instructor.
Instrumental performance scholarships are available for students who participate in this ensemble.
