When 81 year old Columbus Thedford enrolled in 91¸£ÀûÉç's Adult Literacy Program, he couldn't read. Now, through classes twice a week with instructor Susie Chapman, he can pick up a book or fill out forms.

91¸£ÀûÉç student Macy Adams never thought the start of her final year of study in the Radiologic Technology Program would reveal a surprise that would help cover the cost of her education.
A group of Southeast Lauderdale High School juniors and seniors stepped out of their classroom and into a college lab at 91¸£ÀûÉç as part of their dual-credit Anatomy and Physiology I course.
"I want to see what's out there and learn more about where I can take my nursing career," Evans said after she stopped at tables manned by recruiters from across the region.
Using the theme, "Lead Where You Are - Grow Where You Are Planted," 91¸£ÀûÉç staffer Marion Whiting encouraged students to get involved in campus and leadership opportunities.
